Hello Guys!

in this first article, I will share some interesting linux distros for hacker or penetration tester that i found on the internet.

as we know that Linux is an open-source OS, it means we can create/customize our own linux distro!
there are so many Linux distros on the internet that you can use depends on what you need or what you want.

in this article i will create a list of linux distros for hacker or penetration tester.

1.Kali Linux

Kali Linux focus on Penetration testing and ethical hacking,this distro provide many pentesting Tools and script to help you on testing a system.
so far i think Kali linux is the best distro for hacker because of it is easy to use and have so many tools in it.

2.Backtrack

Backtrack linux is the previous version of kali linux, this one is good too because it have so much tools in it,but several tools are outdated. so i suggest you to use kali linux instead of backtrack.

3.Node Zero

NodeZero is an ubuntu-based pentesting OS,it uses ubuntu repository so you can always be updated.

4.Backbox Linux

Backbox linux is based on ubuntu too,but i think this one is better,because backbox is still active and updated.

5.BlackBuntu

Blackbuntu also based on ubuntu,but i think this distro is discontinued,and according to my experience on using this distro, it doesn't have wireless driver,etc.

Samurai web testing framework is created for those who want to test web security.
it has many tools to use for web-pentester.

STD is a linux distro for security professionals,if you don't have a basic knowledge in linux,i don't reccommend you to use this,but if you want to,you can.
